Well hello there! I'm not sure if I will have anyone left hanging in there after such a long break but here we are. The last post I made was 1.5 years ago and it's been so crazy. To be honest I'm not sure where to begin or what to say so I guess I will just be blunt in true me fashion. For new readers who may not have started from the beginning, what started as a move of 2 dogs and 3 people, has turned into an adventure of 2 (my son and myself).
For those of you who have started at the beginning, it will likely be a shock to you that I am separated from my husband and am making this journey as a single mom. Obviously, my long absence had to do with all the things that had happened/reasons why I ended my marriage. These last 1.5 years have been one of the hardest times of my life and I just couldn't find the emotional energy etc. to write.
I'm not going to get into the nitty-gritty and this won't be a long post. I think I'm finally able to start leaning into my creativity and begin again to share my adventures. There have been so many wonderful things that have happened as well. I hope to share some of the things I have learned in the last 2 years I have lived in Portugal, while also sharing all the amazing things to come. So buckle up and join me on what's been one hell of a ride, that I'm sure has just begun!
